Clipse’s No Malice Raps Surrounded by Lynched Men in Disturbing New Video: Watch

The rapper takes on police brutalities in new song “So Woke”
No Malice has shared the music video for new song “So Woke.” In it, the Clipse member raps about religion and police brutalities, referencing the deaths of Tamir Rice and Philando Castile. The music video shows him at the scene of a shooting, and at another point depicts him walking through a forest among the hanging bodies of black men that have been lynched. Watch it below. “So Woke” is taken from No Malice’s new album Let the Dead Bury the Dead, which is due out August 18. It’s the rapper’s first album since his debut solo project Hear Ye Him was issued in 2013. Back in 2014, No Malice shot down rumors of a new Clipse project, saying, “At this point in time, my brother and I attack music from two different perspectives. We can pull off anything together and crush it, but right now I’m just somewhere else and he’s doing his thing.” The last studio album from No Malice and brother Pusha T was 2009’s Til the Casket Drops.
